Licences are not adoption
Many AI programmes report success by counting assigned licences. Application analytics tell a different story: seats that never open the service, sessions that end in the first minute, and teams that keep the old workflow beside the new one.
When we review AI service adoption in Hong Kong organisations, the useful questions are about depth and habit — who returns weekly, which features stick, and where usage drops after onboarding week.
Treat licence totals as inventory. Treat return usage, feature reach, and support themes as adoption. That shift alone changes renewal conversations.
